The SSCMR library has a rich collection of books on several subjects related to the management field. It is well Collection with more than 11000 books. The library caters to the information needs of faculties, staff members and 360 students pursing their post graduation. Books are being barcoded for automated issue/receipt system. e-Granthalaya, a library automation software from National Informatics Centre is used in our library.
The collection comprises of approximately 11296
books (text books, reference books, general management books), 22 Periodicals, 2 database - EBSCO & DELNET. Business Source Elite, around 320 Educational CD's of Management Books- (Operation / IT / Marketing / Finance /Human Resource) and 6 newspapers in English, Hindi & Marathi Languages., in addition to summer/winter projects of students.

Library Rules

Rules and Regulations of the library
(For students)
Every individual entering the library should be MMS Student of the college and must have a valid IDENTITYCARD.
Keep Mobile Phone in silent mode.

Circulation
-
Library books are issued to readers for home reading between 10.00a.m.to 5.00p.m.

Students can borrow 2 books for Week.

Also we provide – Book Bank Facility.

Library Fine
-
Books are issued for a period of one week from the Home Lending Section.

A book must be returned on or before the due date shown on the book.
-
In case a student fails to return a book within the time limit, a fine Rs.1per day per book will be charged for first 15days and Rs.2/-per book after 15days onwards.

During Examination days the fine would be Rs.10/- per day per book. A student may get a book reissued, if it is not in demand.

Mutilation of Books

It is strictly forbidden to mark library books with pencil or ink or mutilate them in any way.

The reader to whom the book was/is issued last will be held responsible for loss of pages or any other damage unless he/she brought it to the notice of the library staff before borrowing.

Any student held responsible for damage of reading materials will be liable to fine equivalent to the damage caused.

Reading Hall
-
Reading hall copies of the books should be used in reading hall only. A student taking books outside the reading hall without the permission of the librarian will have to pay a fine of Rs.10/- per day per book.

Reserving of seats is not permitted in the reading hall of the library under any circumstance.

Complete Silence must be observed in and around the library Disregard of this rule will invite punishment leading to suspension of members.

Please note that Reading Hall is meant for reading purpose and self-study only. Students should not discuss anything in the Reading Hall.

Discipline

The smooth working of the library is possible only students adhere to the rules and regulations of the library. The Librarian reserves the right to refer cased of breach of discipline to the Director.
NOTE: Although no specific rules and regulations are formulated for the staff, all the members are advised to observe general rules and decorum.
