A Tree Plantation Drive was organized on 4th February 2022 at 11:00 am in Lakhivali village, Bhiwandi was undertaken by Dr. Anil Matkar (Director of Swayam Siddhi College of Management and Research), DR. G.S. Shikhare (Principal of Swayam Siddhi Degree Night College, Dr. Sudhakar Iyer, Prof. Sharique Momin, Prof. Ravi Bitla and Prof. Prashant Jadhav supported the tree sapling plantation drive and motivated the students to take care of the saplings so that they grow into healthy trees.
Around 50 plant sapling were planted including neem tree as it possess medical properties..
The students were motivated and advised to take care of the saplings planted by them. The students also took the Oath:
I will plant a tree sapling and take care of the sapling such that it grows into a mature tree
The Sarpanch of the village also explained the importance of planting the trees and thanked everyone for their efforts.
The students were encouraged to plant tree saplings. This activity shall be repeated as and when required. - We hope that such activities shall sensitize and encourage the students to Love the trees until their leaves fall off, then encourage them to try again next year .

By the end of the program all were exhausted. We should plant as many trees possible to create a healthy environment and contribute to minimize the climate change. We hope everybody plants a tree in their lifetime and contribute in conserving the nature. I thank everyone in supporting us for the noble cause
